라살은 글로벌 부동산 투자 관리 회사로써, 2002년 한국 사무소 설립 이래 국내외 다양한 부동산 투자, 개발, 관리 및 매각을 집행하였으며, 2013년 국내 운용사 (AMC) 라이선스 취득을 통해 자체적으로 부동산 자산관리 및 개발 프로젝트를 진행하고 있습니다.
2024년 9월 기준, 라살은 약 2조 4천억원 규모의 수탁고를 관리하고 있으며, 라살의 한국 팀은 국내 부동산 업계에 대한 전문성과 경험을 보유한 13명의 인력으로 구성되어 있습니다.

라살자산운용은 2016년 경기도 이천시 마장면에 위치한 부지를 매입하여 연면적 13,130평 규모의 상온 물류센터를 2017년에 준공하고 2018년에 매각 완료함. 해당 물류센터는 수도권 내의 고속도로와 직접 연계되는 교통의 요충지에 위치하였으며, 라살자산운용은 해당 자산의 준공 시점에 맞추어 유럽의 자동차 회사 및 국제적인 패션브랜드를 임차인으로 유치 완료했음.

2023년 라살자산운용은 이천 부발읍에 위치한 총 연면적 16,346평의 복합 물류센터 두개 동을 인수하였음. 두 자산은 각각 2022, 2021년에 준공된 복합 물류센터들로, 다양한 임차인의 니즈에 맞춰 물류 서비스를 제공할 수 있는 희소성이 높은 자산이며, 현재 국내 주요 3PL 회사가 앵커 임차인으로 장기 임대차 중에 있음. 해당 자산들은 수도권 주요 물류센터 허브 지역인 이천 지역 내에서도 핵심 지역에 입지하고 있으며, 3번 국도와 42번 국도가 교차하는 부발 IC와 1km 거리에 위치하여 서울 및 수도권 지역과의 우수한 접근성을 보유하고 있어 매우 뛰어난 입지적 장점이 있으며, 중부내륙고속도로 서여주IC, 영동고속도로 이천IC와 10분 이내 거리에 위치하여 뛰어난 고속도로 접근성을 통해 서울 및 수도권 주요 지역을 1시간 내외로 물류 운송이 가능한 자산임.

Steve is Head of Korea and is responsible for strategy, personnel, and investment management in the country. He also serves as the representative director of LaSalle Investment Management Co., Ltd., LaSalle’s licensed asset management company in Korea, which manages capital on behalf of domestic and international clients. Steve is also a member of the Asia Pacific Investment Committee.
Prior to joining LaSalle, Steve was a Managing Partner at Bellevue Capital Management, where he focused on cross-border transactions on behalf of Asian family offices and an Executive Director in the Investment Banking Division at Nomura International (Hong Kong) where he was a founding member of the real estate advisory business for Asia Pacific ex-Japan. Earlier, Steve was Vice President of Lehman Brothers’ Global Real Estate Group, focused on principal debt investments in Korea, Australia, and China. He also worked at Deutsche Bank’s Real Estate Opportunities Group, acquiring underperforming properties, multi-borrower loan portfolios, and distressed companies based in Hong Kong. He started his career at Merrill Lynch in the U.S. and interned at the United States Senate.
Since 2000, Steve has completed real estate-related transactions across multiple markets throughout the Asia Pacific region in opportunistic private equity investing, high-yield principal lending, distressed loan portfolio acquisitions, and corporate finance investment banking advisory assignments.
Steve holds a Bachelor of Science from Georgetown University and also studied at The London School of Economics & Political Science under the General Course Program.
Hyejin is the Managing Director for fund management for South Korea based in Seoul. In addition to fund management for Korea, Hyejin’s responsibilities include investor accounting and reporting, transactional support, debt origination and restructuring, and corporate governance. Hyejin originally joined LaSalle in 2016 as a fund controller.
Before joining LaSalle, Hyejin worked at the Jeong Yeon Accounting Firm and PwC, conducting annual audits of numerous companies in various industries. She also worked at Morgan Stanley Properties as a controller, managing Korean real estate funds invested by the Morgan Stanley Real Estate Fund.
Hyejin holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Yonsei University.
She is a CPA certified by the Korea Institute of Certified Public Accountants and a CTA certified by the NTS.
Ally Baek is the Chief Compliance Officer for South Korea based in Seoul. She is responsible for implementing compliance system and managing various risks including legal and regulatory risks from operation of Asset Management Company, monitoring on investment activities, analysis of regulatory implication and advice to business and compliance training, etc.
Ally’s previous work experience includes Compliance and Risk management positions with EastSpring Investments, AIG Investments and AIA.
She graduated from Yonsei University with a Bachelor of Business Administration and is a member of Association of Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialists.
Kyung Bae Park joined LaSalle in January 2024 as a Senior Vice President in the Investor Relations team based in Seoul. He is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with Korean clients.
Kyung Bae brings over 15 years of investment experience to LaSalle. Prior to joining the firm, he worked for Vestas Investment Management, Korean AMC, where he was responsible for deal sourcing, fundraising, and deal execution for its overseas investment division. Before that, Kyung Bae was involved in equity analysis, marketing, and institutional sales at Allianz Global Investors.
Kyung Bae is an alumnus of the London School of Economics and Political Science, where he pursued a Master of Science in Economics, as well as the University of Warwick, where he obtained a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Economics. He is a certified investment manager in Korea.
Dahye Rhee is a Vice President of Portfolio Management for South Korea based in Seoul. She joined LaSalle in 2016.
Prior to joining LaSalle, Dahye worked in the investment and development division of Samsung C&T, where she focused on real estate and infrastructure projects.
Dahye holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Yonsei University and is a CFA Charter holder.
David Oh is a Vice President of Acquisition and Asset Management for South Korea based in Seoul. He joined LaSalle in 2023.
Prior to joining LaSalle, David worked in the investment division of ARA Asset Management, where he focused on inbound and outbound real estate projects acquiring landmark assets such as Parc.1 and Seoul Square. Before that, he was an associate at Pebblestone Asset Management, covering inbound real estate investments. David’s experience in the South Korean real estate market began in 2015 and covers multiple property sectors, including office, retail, hospitality, and industrial.
David holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Rutgers University.
